John Higgins makes slab and thrown works, often with references to architecture, archaeology and everyday objects. His clay is heavily grogged to withstand his unusual making methods and the surfaces are treated with slips, stains and oxides. He will be demonstrating making altered slab forms via the use of the wheel.
