The Arts Centre is situated at the heart of the Penglais campus of Aberystwyth University. When you approach Aberystwyth by road you’ll see signs directing you to Aberystwyth University; these will lead you to Penglais Campus (off the A487). Look out for the bright yellow square signs containing a picture of a mortarboard (academic cap). The grid reference for sat nav users is: 52.417739,-4.065292.
The Festival site at the Arts Centre on Penglais Hill can be reached on foot from the railway or bus stations. It is a 20 minute up walk up a hill but there are taxis outside the railway station and buses that go past the arts centre; timetables are here: http://www.aber.ac.uk/en/maps-travel/bus
Public Transport
If you are travelling to Aberystwyth by train we advise that you double check the timetable in advance to ensure that you don’t miss any of the festival events. The Aberystwyth service runs approximately every two hours. For more details go to http://www.nationalrail.co.uk

Cardiff (2.5 hours)
Birmingham International (2.5 hours) with a direct link from the rail station to Aberystwyth.

If you would like to check on any access issues before you visit the Arts Centre please call 01970 622882. Parking is reserved next to the main entrance approach for drivers with limited mobility. Two spaces are also available at the rear of the theatre, with level access into the main foyer.
Wheelchair access is available to all auditoria and workshop spaces in the venue. Access at ground level to main foyer and box office, by lift up to the theatre foyer and by stair lift down to the lower level. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcomed. Toilet facilities are accessible on all levels except the lower foyer.
