David Frith has been running a pottery business in Denbigh, North Wales with his wife Margaret since the 1970s. He is a Fellow of the Craft Potter’s Association and was vice chairman from 1984-1990. South Wales potter Steve Mills sadly passed away earlier this year; he was a great supporter and advisor to the festival and will be sorely missed. To honour his memory, this kiln build is an Eco version of the kiln Steve was to build and fire at this year’s Festival.
