Congratulations to Dr Natasha Mayo, selected by ICS to take position as the artist-in-residence.
*** Applications now closed – thanks to all applicants***
We are pleased to announce The International Ceramics Studio (ICS) is once again offering a residency opportunity in Kecskemét, Hungary. Applications are open to ALL UK based ceramic practitioners including mid-career and late adopters of ceramics wishing to work in a rich and cultural environment. The ICS Artist-in-residence program allows artists to work in the context of a different country and culture. The ICS is a centre of international cultural exchange, allowing artists to work alongside others from a variety of rich and culturally diverse backgrounds as well as local arts professionals and students.
The programmes provide artists with the space to create new works, experiment with innovative ideas, explore new directions in their work and research new and different ways of making. Artists are encouraged to explore all our facilities to open up new possibilities and directions for the contemporary ceramist. Resident artists are able to exchange ideas and experiences through presentations and informal discussion.
Deadline for Applications: 30th April 2023. Please download and complete the application form below:
